It`s only time to blow the bloody doors off !

At last it seams the wait my be over, check out this page from Play24/7, according to our friends there, The Italian Job will be released on June 3rd `02. Previously this page had a "deleted by the studio" message.

One of my favorite films of all time, I`ve been waiting along time for this one. Not many bonus features listed yet, with luck these will be added before June. Time to start the endless Michael Caine quotes, and singing the Self Preservation Society.

"You better put your foot down, put your foot down, we`ll loose `em easy"

I have been waiting for this for ages. I had expected it to be released last November when the game was released. It is my son`s favourite movie and his birthday is June 3rd how odd is that??
I have only seen it once a while ago but I thought the quote was: " You were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off"?

Hope they make a good job of it and put together a good package a commentary from Michael Caine would be good.

I modified the first quote to fit with news of the release date, but there are loads more...

"Hang on lads, I`ve got an idea"
"Remeber is the country, they drive on the right side of the road"
"Your car?, Pretty car" (in Italian accent)
"I hope he likes speghetti, They serve it three times a day in Italian prisons"

.... I could go on all day.

This is without doubt the single most wanted DVD on my wishlist!! Paramount don`t have a great record on the DVD extras so I hope they do it justice.

Garage Manager: "You must have shot an awful lot of tigers, sir."
Charlie Croker: "Yes, I use a machine gun."
