Just got this email from the funding mentalism people
Dear Funding Mentalist,
It`s been a long time since we emailed you last. If you`re wondering what`s been going on, we`ve been very busy preparing for festivals and now for the film`s theatrical release.
If anyone asks you when it`s out, please send them the attached poster. In fact send it to them whether they ask you or not. Four Lions is in cinemas on May 7th. The film depends hugely on the success of the first weekend so if you can, see it then. You`ll find the latest list of venues at the end of this email.
You can find more information on the film`s official website: www.four-lions.co.uk. Watch the silhouette character icons for hidden nonsense over the next two weeks.
P.S - Don`t worry, we haven`t forgotten about your film cells! To celebrate the film`s release, they`ll be sent out to you in May.
Best wishes and thanks,
Dierdre Steed

Yeah, London always has the south east covered :/
I saw the trailer a while ago when someone posted it here, and missus is as well after seeing trailer at out local picture house, who now have posters up for it, and are mentioned in your list above :)
Must remember to see it, `cos it`s the sort of film that may come and go quickly :(

left the cinema 20 minutes ago, sides literally still hurt from laughing so much! It`s extremely funny :)
Saw it at my local Picture House where we saw Iron Man 2 last week. Interestingly that was in smal screen last week, and tonight Robin Hood is in small screen while Four Lions continues in large screen! Four Lions was popular than Iron man 2 last week as well.
Saw this last night and it was really good. Lots of funny parts.
It`s quite structured as a film which did surprise me slightly, purely because of how Chris Morris`s tv shows go, but you can definately see similarties to parts of his shows with things like upside down clown, plus a few of the ludicrous names for things he likes to make up.
I took my missus who I wasn`t convinced would like it, but she thought it was the funniest thing she`d seen in years and wants to go back and see it.
Hopefully, it will get a fairly decent run as word of mouth will definately help it get a decent run, which will mean potentially more Chris Morris films might get financing and similar films that don`t follow the same boring outline.

its on in t wells!
I may go tonight - on me owns
As a rather pleasant surprise, it has five or six showings a day at my local Cineworld so I`ll definitely see it in the next day or two. I have so far avoided reading any reviews or seeing any trailers so I`m going into it pretty fresh and devoid of preconceptions.

I watched the trailer from this thread.
The name didn`t inspire anything for me.
The trailer left me wanting to see it!
Work is unreal at the minute in that it`s so quiet we`re having to work ridiculous huors just to get past break-even point so finding the time is killing me to go see this but it`s the first movie in a long time a trailer has inspired me for so I`m reasonably determined.
Also think Whoot should get a special mention from them for "advertising" it here and geeing a few of us into seeing it ;)
