Anybody seen Rat Race just wondered if it`s any good? Out next week R1. Is it worth buying? It`s on at the cinema now.

I seen this movie on my flight from the UK to Australia, its a kind of remake of ` its a mad mad world ` with Phil Silvers..Worth getting, well if you mean is it one of those films you can pay to go and see then no, its more of ` I will wait for the video release ` then again this is only my preferred opinion...Mark1ace1

My R1 copy turned up this morning (I still think it`s cool having a movie that`s only been in the cinemas here for a week). I think it`s a howl. It`s a homage sort of affair to "It`s A Mad Mad Mad Mad World" (my favourite piccie which is out R2 on 11th March). It starts off slow, and you`ll ask yourself what have they done to John Cleese`s teeth, but by the time the picture moves to the airport it`s in its stride. It`s not quite relentlessly silly but it`s close to that with a flying cow, a busload of Lucille Ball`s and Adolf Hitler`s car.

The disk carries outtakes, deleted scenes, a commentary and a trailer.

I went to see this at the cinema on Wednesday night and left before the film had even reached the half-way stage - it is absolutely attrocious and Rowan Atkinson`s character is dreadful.
