Early reviews over at AICN. One not very good, one good.

Hopefully it will be good

Didn`t even know about it. Second review, and the premise in particular, sounds promising...

Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn...

And those who dance will spin and turn,
And those who wait will wait no more,
And those who talk will hear the words,
And those who see will fade and die,
And those who laugh will surely fall,
And those who know will always feel their backs against the thin wall...

Yes sounds like it could be OK, but unfortunately the guy who gave the good review doesn`t seem to ask for too much from a movie

There`s a pretty badass action scene where we see a naked chick in a bathtub

Because of course what would action scenes be without naked chicks in bathtubs?

Seen as people haven`t heard of it (I assumed people would have for some reason).

It`s the new Neil Marshall film (Dog Soliders, The Descent).

Basically it reminds me of Cool Runnings but with a dogsled twist, but if you want a more detailed description

Sypnosis

Quote:
Doomsday takes place three decades after a lethal virus called the Reaper nearly wipes out Scotland and causes the rest of the world to wall off the country. When the Reaper begins to emerge in another country 30 years later, an elite team and their leader (Rhona Mitra) are sent to the contaminated landscape of the walled-off country to find a cure.

The set pictures I have seen in magazines and online looked quite impressive actually so I will add them on later if I can find any.

Tomb raider, Mad Max, escape from post-apocalyptic city of your choice, resident evil, 28 days later...

Nothing you haven`t seen before people, move along...

(I can see why Rhona wanted to do this role, she was the official Lara for a while...)

By the way, as I only quick posted didn`t explain that I`m disappointed with the trailer :(

Still I enjoyed Dog Soliders and The Descent, but didn`t see their trailer so "you never know". Not desperate to see anymore though

Not a very interesting fact folks but part of this movie was filmed directly behind my flat in Dennistoun, Glasgow. There was a huge overhead crane thingie perched just above my roof for a couple of days. The street behind my flat was blocked off for a couple of weeks and decorated with old bushes hanging from the buildings, burnt cars up turned on the roads, etc. :B

Its the closest I`ll get to fame methinks
