Page 1 of How much fun does Shoot`em Up look?

Just watched the trailer for Shoot`em Up and it looks fantastic. Clive Owen is great as is Paul Giamati, who looks insane in this:D

Is it just me or Monica Belushi look younger and fitter than she ever has?

Come on, you don`t think it looks even remotely fun?. It`s one of those films you can look forward too and know your going enjoy it without having to invest too much thought into it.

I don`t mind `hang your brain up at the door` stuff at all, and Paul Giamatti is usually good value, however, the originality quotient of this looks like being zero and I`m still not convinced that Clive Owen can really act at all (not seen much of his recent stuff, admittedly).

I`m with Cassius - looks like it`ll go well with Smokin Aces (leave the thinking outside!)

I wasn`t to fond of Smokin Aces, it started off well, then it just went up its own arse after 20 minutes, to the point that I couldn`t care less about any of the characters.

simply bored witless by the entire saga of Luke Skywalker.... I thought Star Wars was dull, Empire was better, Jedi was worse.

Has anyone watched this?

I turned it off after about 5/10mins tonight. Couldn`t get into it.

Is it worth sticking with it if I didn`t like that opening part?

I`ve heard of comparisons to Crank and Smokin Aces, but I thought it was a lot more ridiculous in the beginning part I watched.

I liked Crank but didn`t particulary enjoy Smokin Aces, although this wasn`t due to the ridiclousness but more the fact that it was so uneven and a lot of pointless characters that caused the film to go off on mad tangents.

Done exactly the samething mate. Switched it off just a Paul Giamati showed up. I`d been looking forward to this but those first 5 minutes are just painfully bad.

I think it was the carrot that done it.
