SPOILER:
Tobin Bell`s character is going to be in both (supposedly they made 3 knowing this and there are subtle scenes in the film which explain the supposed death)

I wasn`t too keen on 3, but I`m quite pleased that they at least had an idea for the inevitable 4th rather than just trying to get a loophole out when they wanted to make the fourth.

Fair enough III wasnt as good as the other 2 but at least it tied the 3 films together nicely. It was very much gore for the sake of gore and not as much storytelling as I & II but I didnt think it was a terrible film. Are the scenes they speak about the ones in the park? the flashback scenes with the `furnace guy` (I forget his name) from Saw II strolling past in the park?
III provided a natural end to the franchise, the end of Jigsaw and the `oh s***` ending with the missing girl, which even though it leaves it open for a Saw IV also provides a great what happened next ending thats would leave folks wondering what happened for evermore ...just like I have with the Italian Job since seeing it as a kid Ive wanted to know if the bus fell off the cliff or they somehow managed to escape....
..sometimes the open ending is the best ending!

I loved all 3 Saws (3rd wasn`t as good, but still liked it). But i am worried how there going to make IV onwards, especially with Tobin Bell. But as long as they don`t totally mess up, i`ll keep watching.
You say pyscho like its a bad thing

have you seen the teaser for Hostel II?
The posters or an actual video trailer? I`ve seen the posters, which are both pretty decent (and equally disgusting), but I wasn`t aware of a proper trailer. I`ll have a look now. ;)
