Have you ever walked out of a film?

Sminty (Elite) posted this on Wednesday, 19th April 2006, 12:05

I went to see Birth at the cinema and I was close to walking out before the end. Has anyone felt the same about a film, and if so what was it?

Only ever walked out on one film - Jason X, but that had more to do with having to catch a train that left before the film finished. Film was a pile of s***e as well, mind.

I almost left during the abysmal Elizabethtown, but decided to fall asleep instead (wasn`t difficult). That film was the most excruciating cinema-going experience ever!

Also recently felt like leaving during Aeon Flux, King Arthur and Constantine, but couldn`t be bothered standing up to leave :/

I think if I`d seen Love, Actually at the cinema I would definitely have walked out during that.

Fell asleep during Star Trek Generations, but can`t recall walking out of a cinema. I do remember watching people flocking to the exit when I was watching Pulp Fiction years ago. There was only a few of us left if I remember correctly! Top film.

I had to leave during Eyes Wide Shut as it was really un-nerving my wife. She just felt really uncomfortable during the scene in the mansion with the masks.

I had to buy it on DVD to see the end of it :( DOH!!

I walked out on "Naughty Marietta" (I think it was called) after 30 minutes. I had come to see "Dr. Zhivago".I thought this trailer for "Naughty Marietta" was rather long until it dawned on me. Wrong cinema .

Had to leave Scooby Doo2 after my neice got scared 5 minutes in. £20 of uncle Simons money well spent. :/

Wanted to walk out of Johnny Nemonic(?) a few years ago but was on a date. Didnt even get any though at the end of the evening. :(

2 friends who went with me to see The Frightners walked out 30 minutes in. Wouldnt have minded too much but it was on my birthday night out. >:(

I walked out of Minority Report halfway through (though this was partly because I knew how long it was on for, if there`d have only been 20mins left I probably would have stayed)

Loads I wish I would have walked out of, such as the already mentioned Van Helsing, and most recently Kung Fu Hustle. I only stayed because I thought the 2 mates I was with liked it, turned out they thought it was s**t as well
