Page 1 of Terminator 2 Ultimate Edition Extras? Help!!

Hi. I`ve just ordered my copy of the R1 version of T2 (in the LE Metal Box apparently), and wish to know of any extras I should keep a look out for on the DVD? I was reading a site review which states that the DVD has 3 versions of the film on it (Theatrical Version, Special Edition, and Ultimate Edition), but said that thw Ultimate Edition is only available as an Easter Egg? Is this true, and if so, hwo do I access it? What are the bonus scenes in the Ultimate Edition when compared to the Special Edition? Does it contain the deleted end sequence that shows Sarah as an older woman in a park in the future with her grandaughter?

Are there any other extras/easter eggs on this Disk (or The Terminator (1) DVD) that I should be aware of? Thanks :-)

It has the theatrical version and the special edition. When i watched both versions, non of them had the parts where the T-1000 starts to go faulty, the garage part where they (john and sara) take the chip from Arnie`s head, when sara dreams of kile, and the part you mentioned with old sara in the park. However, it does show them all when you watch the extra`s on the other side of the disc. It it a very good dvd though, the best one i own. Hopefully, some other people will be able to help you out, as im not 100% sure though.

goto the special edition menu on the dvd and press 8,2,7,9,7 on some players, you have to press ok after each of these numbers, this should reveal a statement, the future is not set, and then u can go to the hiden version

Does anyone know of the reasons for frame `glitches` when playing the "Terminator 2:Ultimate Edition" DVD (R1) on the Minato G1 Player? It`s as if the player is skipping frames - as it appears jumpy when playing the movie. Is there any way I can stop this from happening? Also in the beautifully designed menus, the image jumps from full screen, to wide screen, as if the player cant decide on which format to choose. Is there any way I can stop this from happening?

I think its 8,2,9,7,7 or 8,2,9,9,7 and on my dvd player i had to press ok after each number. Still dicanio, thanks again, nice little suprise.

Another way of getting the ultimate edit is to start the film and then choose track 3 (track 1 = theatrical, track 2 = Special)
The ultimate ed adds two scenes, they are:

T1000 seaches Johns room for clues to his whearabouts. (after he kills Max the dog)

and the alternate ending you already knew about.

As for glitches, I only noticed one, when the red snipers laser appears on the back of Dyson`s neck. (this is where the footage from the two versions rejoin)

Thanks for all this information - it`s all great. I managed to work out the `August 29th 1997` code (8.29.97) to view the Ultimate Edition - a great surprise :-) The seamless editing works perfectly on my machine.

Does anyone know which setting is best for viewing an R1 disc such as `Terminator 2` on an R2 player (with a hack of course!)? Is it NSTC, PAL60, or another format (normal PAL makes the image shudder when viewing an R1 disc - or is this just my machine?). Thanks

I too have recently bought T2 Ultimate Edition and have tried out the code to access the third version, but i have had no success.

I have a wharfadale 750 player and was wondering if anyone else has had any problems or if its just me.
