Page 1 of Which version of Saving Private Ryan?

Want to get this but not sure whether the Region 1 or 2 was better? any ideas? cheers!

Get R1 and there are 2 version on R1, get the DTS version, but you do lose out on the documentary if you go for DTS.

Yeah -get the R1 DTS version - £13.99 on futureent.com is prob the cheapest

Is it not still in their Cheap Region 1 DVD section ?

Go to main page, wait for the box advertising Bargain Region 1 discs and click thru to that section - it was 13.99 last time I looked, anyway

It comes to £13.70 including p&p. You couls also add 1 of their sale CD`s to get the price near to £18 with adding any extra p&p.

DEFINETLY get the DTS version I sold my DD version & got it oh my god what sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! & what a film!!!

Has the DTS version got both 5.1 and DTS or just DTS.

it just has DTS 5.1 no Dolby Digital 5.1, so if its the DD u need, u`ll have 2 buy the DD version

If you can`t find the DD version cheaper than the DTS version, let me know and i`ll do a swap with you (my DD version is in brand new condition anyway).
