It`s in Wollies for £9.99 is it any good. I saw the first one and quite enjoyed it (didn`t have a clue what was happening though).

RE: Mission Impossible 2. Any Good??
Yeah, it seems there`s mixed feelings about this film. I think those that were most let down were the ones who`d seen the first and were expecting, as dicanio says, something more intelligent.
It`s an action adventure film. Bond for the uninteligent if you will. Great stuff, cool stunts and lots of explosions.

Biggest pile of poo i ever had to sit through... but thats just my opinion... (c:
RE: Mission Impossible 2. Any Good??
As a dvd it`s excellent - good-looking picture with reference quality audio as well as some genuinely interesting extras to go with the nifty menus. However, as a movie it`s a pile of w***. A promising opening, tedious and drawn-out middle and o.t.t. ending which had none of the excitement of the underrated original. Having said that, for £9.99 you really can`t go wrong - my most recent claim to shame was picking up Last Action Hero for £6.99 from a bargain bin and actually enjoying it.
RE: Mission Impossible 2. Any Good??
I have to say that MI2 is the worst film I`ve ever seen, beating previous holders Chain Reaction and Waterworld.
Dialogue was terrible, plot was a joke, acting the worst example of its kind, and the action sequences lacking any sort of style or excitement.
RE: Mission Impossible 2. Any Good??
I`ve read a lot about John Woo, I`ve seen a few of his films, he seems like a nice chap. Unfortunately his films stink, Mission Impossible 2 is no exception. I`d go so far as to say he`s almost as bad as Joel Schumacher and that`s saying something.(Now don`t all shout at once!!)
Have you ever actually seen a John Woo film???
I`m not talking about his American efforts here (i.e MI2 and Hard Target), but his Hong Kong movies - The killer, Hard Boiled??
Has there ever been an action movie to rival Hard Boiled?? I don`t think so...
And to compare Woo to Schumacher is an insult.
