What a fantastic site! :D The review of Oldboy gets everything wrong, but it`s fun to read nontheless. Quote:

Ditto except Wallace and Gromit, League of Gentlemen`s Apocalypse and Hitchhiker`s Guide are all right up there.

It looks amazing quite frankly. I can`t wait to see it. There`s decent quality SVCD out now, but I think I may just wait for the cinema release. Just wish it was sooner! :(

its out in the UK june 3rd i think. and came out last friday in the states. ive seen it and ive got to say its a pretty awesome film. they have really done a great job. i was a fan of the comics for years and didnt think they could pull it off, but its spot on. unsure which bit tarantino did, will have to have a look in to it , may be that yellow bastard part.

I saw it last night, It`s amazing !! It`s pretty much non-stop action, especially Marv`s part of the story.
Mind you if your a little bit squemish, you might wanna stay away from it - as it is very violent.

I`m pretty sure the bit Tarantino did was the bit in the car with Benicio and Clive Owen, though not sure exactly how much.

I was watching the SVCD thats out, the quality was very good, the few colours there are in the film stood out really well. The sound was fairly good too, I had it going through my surround speakers and it was better than I expected - A lot of the film is narrated by the characters & you do notice that this is a lot louder when they are doing this as opposed to just speaking in the film (very minor quibble though).

Definately worth a look. I`ll go watch at the cinema aswell though, just purely because I wanna see this carnage happen on a big screen (I`m not sick honest :D )

This is now my favourite film of all time and i mean all time. None stop action and violent as hell. To be honest i didnt know tarantino directed any of it, i thought he just mixed the sound for him like Rodriguez did on Kill Bill.

By far the best Comic Book movie to date and i`m betting it will p*** all over Fantastic Four. All the actors fit perfectly with there characters and Mickey Rourke just steals the movie. Marv is the star of the film IMO.

I quite liked Clive Owens part aswell although i failed to notice much personalty difference between his part in SC and his part in Closer (both movies in which he talks to a corpse, apologies to Miss Roberts :D).

The thing that gets me very excited is the fact this just is just a handfull of the many many SIn City stories so hopefully there be a sequel or 2 on the way

Seen it 3 times already and i still can`t wait to see it on the big screen.

Oh one more thing, don`t take the missus to see this, she will just blag your head about how much she hated it. She might have like X-Men and Spider-man but this is a mans movie:D

Pat on the back for you Mr Rodriguez and all is forgiven for the abismal Spy Kids series (:¦

Bryan

Must admit I`ve watched it 3 or 4 times now and just can`t get enough of it.
I agree completely Marv does steal the show, but one thing for sure is that Bruce Willis is lucky as hell in the film as he gets to lock lips with Jessica Alba - who is smoking hot in this !!!
