The running time is listed as 109 min. I`d check before you buy, the running time should be 133 min.

Amazon.com have the same dvd listed here and quote a running time of 133 minutes, which would indicate that it is the uncut version.

A bit more research needed I think - hopefully a reviewer on Amazon will clarify things.

Edit - every other listing I`ve found for this edition Iincluding Sony Pictures) quotes 133 minutes. Maybe CD-Wow got it wrong? I`ve emailed them to find out. You can also pick it up from DVDSoon for about the same price as CD-Wow, counting delivery...

This version is fundamentally the same as the `International Uncut` version which has been out for some time. It also has DTS sound option and some extra extras. So my advice would be...if you have the `Int Uncut` version, stick with it, if not, then get this version. It is 133 mins long.

I now wish that I hadn`t bought the International Uncut Version as I would have liked to listen to the commentary.

I have, and it is. No extras or anything on it, though...

The 1st time i sore Leon it was the Japanese intergral version, and i thought it was 1 of the best films i`d ever seen. But after seeing the normal version it was only a good action thriller. What is different the between the Japanese "integral" version and the "international uncut" version if anyone knows.
I wouldnt have thought there can be that much difference as it still seems to be 24 mins longer than the standard cut.

Press release found from another dvd site says:
"Columbia Tristar will be releasing two Luc Besson classics as part of their Deluxe Edition range on January 11th. Both Leon The Professional (Unrated International version) and The Fifth Element will contain 2 DVDs a piece, and will boast "Superbit quality" transfers for the each of the main features.
Extras for Leon The Professional will include such nuggets as a ten year reunion featurette; a Trial By Fire: Natalie Portman As Mathilda featurette; a Birth Of A Star: Jean Reno As Leon featurette; and a subtitle fact track."
