Page 1 of Problem Playing Dr Who Lost In Time Disc 2

Is anyone else having problems playing any of the latest Doctor Who Discs

Discs 1 and 3 play fine. Problem occurs with disc 2. If I episode select the `The Faceless Ones - Episode 1` my DVD Player makes lots of whirring noise and freezes.
It sounds lke it`s searching but can`t find it.
However it appears to play fine on my PC CD-ROM which is confusing me.

Do you have a low budget player?

Mine plays fine - more than can be said for my disc 1 and 3. The packet came through the door with a hell of a crash and when I opened it, the case had been crushed, the plastic along the bottom was caved in. Disc one was floating and had a nice scratch on it and disc three had a radial crack in it from the hub as far as the playing surface. Needless to say it`s back in the post again in the morning. >:(

Sorry. I have an REC R-800C which is about 5 years old. I have hundreds of discs and never had any problems before. I have had the odd faulty disc before, but these have also refused to play on my DVD-ROM. This disc is confusing me as it freezes in the player, accompanied my whirring noises and sometimes loud `clicks`, but plays fine on my DVD-ROM.

I think I`ll send it back for a replacement and see if that does the same.

My set of Lost in Time has played fine. It might be that you recieved one of the copies from a fault batch. I had heard reports of some faulty sets like yours on other forums.
