what do you reckon are the most overrated films, mines are Life is Beautiful and Crouching Tiger, both foreign i know. This is why i reckon people went mad for them but to me they are just poor films.

Laurence of Arabia - Just never understood why people love this film as much as they do. Yes it`s got beautiful cinematography, but I just don`t like the character... and it`s so bloody long.
My DVD Collection Everyone is entitled to an opinion, no matter how wrong it is ;-)

I`d say Jackie Brown was underrated personally, I think it`s a great film. Overrated I`d say The Breakfast Club, Star Wars 4-6, The Usual Suspects. Don`t get me wrong, I think theyre all great films, and indeed own all of them, they just get too much praise

The Godfather 1, 2 and 3 ...I just dont see what all the fuss is about The Sixth Sense... Not a bad film just nowhere near as great as people say Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon...total bollocks from star to finish The Exorcist..again not a bad film, just VERY overrated The Texas Chainsaw Massacre...Its reputation far outweighed it, rather like the Exorcist
