Page 1 of Where can i get in the UK - - The Blues Brothers (Collector`s Edition) DVD

It seems its region 1 only but no problem i have a multiregion player so im after The Blues Brothers (Collector`s Edition) as i loved the film when i saw it a few years ago on tv. Im after this specific one as i hear it has extra footage in and bonus material which is what im after.

Please help me find a UK Company that sells this as i have tryed and failed lookin about.

PLEASE HELP ME FIND A COPY HERE IN THE UK!!!

The two-disc version (which also includes Blues Brothers 2000) has an extended version of the film, with many previously deleted scenes added back in. There are other extras in it too...

And I`d advise you not to put disc 2 (Blues Bros 2000) in your player. CRAP FILM ALERT.

Think the most disappointing sequel ever made in my books!

You know this for a fact and can u link me to one of these please.

There`s a DVD of the film, without the sequel, and it`s £6.99 or 3 for £20, I`m sure its the same as the 2 disc set, it`s also got a few extra features as well.

Yeah but i dont think its the special extended version with the extra footage. If anyone has bought that and is a extra long verrsion please let me know. Cheers. :)

Going by the running time Id say thats not an extended version...I have 2 VHS copies (an early release from the mid 80`s at 127 minutes, and the re-release that came out just before the awful Blues Brothers 2000 at 128 minutes). I cant tell the difference between the two apart from the newer being better quality having not been watched hundreds of times lol

I know theres an extended version out there, but Ive never seen it.....

Think it was only released in the usa so would be region 1.

Thing is im in the UK and really want that version i bought a multiregion so i can play it but where to buy it from tho? As i was hoping a site the imports dvds would have it but alas i dont know any except playUSA.com but they dont have it and i dont feel comfortable buying direct from usa as i 1 dont know the price differences and 2 dunno about there postal services and also about customs....

Wish i could find someone who had it here in the UK. :(

I own the R1 Collectors Edition Blues Brothers.
The running time is 148 mins. Extras include The stories behind the Blues Brothers a feature length documentary on the making of the film featuring interviews with cast and crew.
I bought mine from Play USA but they dont have it anymore. Sorry I can`t be any help
