Page 1 of Leon Japanese R2 same as US R1 (International version)?

As above. R2 Japanese version integral seems to have the same running time as the R1 version but seem to recall that it actually has some extra scenes. Can anyone confirm this as I have to buy this film soon and would like the "complete" version.

Yes there are extra scenes (about 25 mins I think) and they make a big difference. They turn a very good film into a classic (don`t want to spoil it by going into more detail).The single disc Japanese release is the longer cut of the film, there is also a Japanese 2 disc set being released with both versions of the film. This is also available in Korea and would probably be cheaper.

I just received the Korean version a few days ago from www.koreandvds.com - it contains 2 discs, 1 with the short version and the other with the extended version (20-odd minutes extra).

Lovely looking package - haven`t watched the extended version yet.

Total with shipping was about 20 US dollars
