Page 1 of goodfellas, clerks, daredevil special editions

First of all i wanna say hi to everyone who uses this forum as this is my first posting here.

Ok, on to my question....I have been hearing rumours that a special edition of Goodfellas is in the works and i was just wondering if anyone had any more information about what features to expect (deleted scenes? commentaries?). Also, does anyone know if Casino will be getting a similar treatment?

I have also heard that the Kevin Smith movie, Clerks, is getting a 10th Aniversary special edition treatment and i just wondered if someone could tell me when this is being released and what extra features i can expect from this (i`m quite curious cause the original R1 version seems to have a comprehensive amount of features).

Finally on the subject of annoying `special special editions`,can anyone tell me what extras are planned for the daredevil extended edition that has been rumoured for a while.

Think goodfellas is due out end of september - there was talk that a commentary track had been done by the bloke the book/film is based on - not sure if scorsese is involved on the chat track though but he is supposed to have had enxtensive input on the dvd!

Daredevil directors cut has i think been put back to 2005 (last time i read about it anyway)

Goodfellas may be out before September - a July/August release was the last I heard. It will be a 2-disc special edition, with at least one audio commentary.

Daredevil`s SE is dubbed `Daredevil 1.5` and will come out in 2005, just before the release of the spin-off Elektra (so I think May/June, not 100% sure though). It will have extended/deleted scenes and perhaps new extras.

Clerks had a new R2 release recently, which is apparently pretty bad - and that`s all we`re getting it seems. The R1 Anniversary Edition is the best by far.

Erm...no. The R4 CE is better than the R1 for having an anamorphic transfer. See here. Also, where is the R2 release of Clerks? I can`t find it anywhere.

The current `best` release is the R4, but there is a new 10th Anniversary Edition due out in R1 this year. Don`t know any more details at the moment I`m afriad.
