Blade [R1] arrived today in a broken snapper - advice needed

RWB (Elite) posted this on Thursday, 1st April 2004, 11:24

It was my first order with CD-WOW!, for the R1 version of the `98 Snipes flick, Blade. The disc arrived this morning, and of course I expected it to be in a lovely Amaray being distributed by New Line...but oh no, in fact it is a snapper, and the plastic clip that holds the disc is broken (the disc was rattling around).

Are all versions like this? If not, is it reasonable for me to get a refund from CD-WOW! and shop elsewhere, like Movietyme?

When I got my Lord of the Rings TTT EE from Cd-WOW the box had been slightly damaged in transit. I mailed them and they sent me a new one out straight away and a S.A.E. to send the damaged one back.

If you do ask for a refund, I am pretty sure they will do it.

Not too sure about the case it shoudl be in though, maybe DVD Profiler will shed light on it?

DVD Profiler indicates it should be in a Keep Case - Amaray - and that`s what I presumed all New Line discs to be like. What I will do now is e-mail CD-WOW! and ask for a replacement, and ideally in a bloody Amaray.

It`s meant to be in a snapper, see here.

I think all of my new line R1 discs are in snappers. Austin powers, Friday and many others.

Do CD WOW! ever specify if its American or Canadian?

If you ask them first. I did, and got the Canadian release in an Amaray (well, no a real Amaray, but a keep case of some sort).
