Leon

I notice that play have got Leon for 8 quid (not the International Version). I was just wondering if I should get the cut version for 8 quid, or the international version for twice that amount. Is the uncut version really a `better` film?

Any thoughts?

Definitely get the International Cut. The added footage makes the film better.

Get the Korean 2 disc, has both cuts of the film. I got mine for $14 + P+P from www.koreandvds.com

Personally, I prefer the cut version; I think the added scenes add a little too much.

When I first saw the International Version, that`s what I thought too. But then the second time I watched it I realised that it makes Leon a wonderful character. I know that there appears to be paedophile undertones, but there really isn`t. Mathilda becomes fascinated by the man that saved her life, and any sexual feelings generated in the relationship are purely in her mind. Leon is too simple and pure to have these thoughts. He comes across as being innocent, which is quite ironic given his profession :D

Just the way I look at it. Although the dinner scene was an uncomfortable watch :/
