Fear and Loathing - Region 2 when?

The Criterion Collection (region 1) version of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas looks feature-packed. Is there a similar (or any) region 2 release of this film planned?

I don`t think it`s planned yet. If you have a multi-region DVD player you should get the Criterion, it`s £17.99 at CD-Wow, which is quite cheap.

Got mine delivered last week, it`s a fantastic double disc set.

And by using the HK site, got it for around £15. :D

it`s a cool 2-disc set. I finally got around to watching this last night. Top darts! The extras are very good.

I got the Criterion of this today. It`s got quite weird (but groovy) packaging. I really dig the artwork. Will watch it soon...

I got it a while back - its such an odd film. Strangely enjoyable in a `what the f***?` type of way.

I saw it in the cinema, and the use of pretty much every lens available for a camera really got to your eyes. But I thought it was brilliant.

Haven`t seen it since though... apart from catching 10 minutes of it when it was on TV.

You ought to listen to the Hunter commentary track, it`s really funny, especially when does that strange sound like Depp does when he takes that adrenaline drug.

Also the BBC documentary is very cool. A great insight to the infamous gonzo journalist, and boy doesn`t he want to go out with a bang when he dies.

I think the dvd cover is very clever, where the clear case is what your seeing if you was in his drug addled world, yet when you pull the slipcase away, your in the normal world with just the two characters off their heads.

Fave scene? I think where they enter the hotel where theirs the drug convention, and the one where he has flashbacks, after his adrenaline drug.

Read the book it is even funnier than the film.
