Anyone seen this sequel to the SI-FI film Cube, I have.
It is as excelent and as gripping it as the origional cube film with very good acting yet again (well there is not much in the way of background senery.
Once again it initially leaves you guessing whats it all about.
Without giving anything away, there is a good twist to story due to the type of cube and its effects this time, it is a hyper cube.
A well done film, definately awaiting the next sequel, Cube 3D ?

I thought the acting in the original was awful. The film was quite interesting and well done for the money though.
I may rent the sequel out of curiosity.

I really liked the first one due to its originality, but found the second one, Hypercube, really appalling.
It`s generally the same thing once again, but with really bad special effects and NO story. I felt as the script had been written as they went along shooting it. And the ending felt as the writers didn`t know what happened really so they just threw something together and applied a "twist" so they audience wouldn`t boo at the screen but simply be quiet in total puzzlement instead.
I just laughed at the whole thing and later cried over 1.5 hrs pretty much totally "wasted" :D
Edit: The Cube was a very nice original film that should have been left alone from greedy money-making franchisers.

Some people like one off original films, other people have all the Hellraiser films and Robocop films and eagerly await the sequels. Personally I was much more interested in the release of Cypher

So the concensus so far seems to be that the film is not that good.
I have always been a sucker for Si-fi horror films, so I liked it.

saw this a wile ago, enjoyed it. not rubbish, not exellent. average. not as good as no.1 but more gory (i think) and better ending. didnt like 1st films ending

Yeah the ending in the first wasn`t all that good either, but still 100 times better than in the second IMHO. And as far as I remember, the second was much less gory..
