On the last track of Disc One (Bring It On Home), has anyone noticed a slight crackling noise coming from the centre speaker in the first few minutes of the song on the DD5.1 track?
It doesn`t seem to be there on the DTS or Stereo tracks.
Mine is an R1 version and I`m trying to figure out if it`s my equipment or a faulty disc or a fault on the master.
Cheers,
Steve

Just got ours - I`ll listen out for it. We have R1 too.
Thanks Richard.
It sounds a little like distortion on the centre channel and it is also on the previous track, but not quite as noticeable. Only appears to be present on the Dolby Digital track.
Look forward to hearing what you find.
Cheers,
Steve
Yep it`s there on my R1 copy as well - didn`t notice it when I first got it as I only listened to the DTS soundtrack, which sounds just fantastic. I`m curious to see if the problem is also on R2 - there are some postings about this sound problem on the newsgroups, but I think they all relate to R1 as well.
Thanks Kevin. I guess that rules out mine just being a single faulty DVD.
Anyone got the R2 version that can confirm whether the same problem is there or not?
Cheers,
Steve
I have it, but it`s in Dorset and I`m in Paris (working) for 2 weeks, if you can wait I`ll try it when I get back.... It arrived when I didn`t have time to watch it, is it good? Is Black Dog on it? Why don`t Hotels provide DVD players and full 5.1 or even 6.1 speaker sets?
Now Frustrated in Paris
Yes Black Dog is on it and it rocks big time! This is a dream come true for Led Zep fans....how many years have we waited for a collection of live material (and bonus features to boot) like this for? I personally have to say that this is now one of my favourite DVD`s! For anyone who is not certain wether they like this band or not just play the first track on disc 2 - The Immigrant song - at full wack and prepared to be blown away!!!!!
