Page 1 of Family Guy - worth buying?

Noticed a DVD has been out called `Family Guy` and am just wondering if its any good?

I like `The Simpsons` so do you reckon I would like it?

Oh yeah, Family Guy is most definitely worth buying - in fact I`d even go so far as to say that in terms off insightful adult humour it surpasses the Simpsons (sacrilegious I know).

Series 1 and 2 are out now to buy, Series 3 is out in a few weeks. Highly recommended.

I`m a huge Simpsons fan but another thumbs up here for Family Guy. It`s very funny, slightly evil and has much repeat value. The discs don`t come with any extras but if you like animation and spot on comedy then go for it!.

Worth buying for Stewie`s antics alone.

completely agree with all the above, c4 are showing it very late on a friday night, so if you are not sure watch a few first, but like king of the hill and more recently south park, everything that has come out after the simpsons has been overlooked.

Agreed, well well well worth a purchase. They seem to do the sort of comedy that everyone thinks about but you rarely ever see done. And yes, it is far better than any of The s*** new Simpsons episodes from 2000 onwards.

I picked up season 1 for £6 second hand and thought I`d give it a try because I`d heard good things. It`s excellent and despite the 15 Certificate the whole family enjoys it!!
