Title says it all...oh, and how does it compare to Leon?

yes..Nikita is a great film. Almost word-for-word copied as `The Assassin`, but far superior. Mind you, as the latter had Bridget Fonda leaping over tables in a short dress, I suppose I can forgive Holloywood for everything :-).

Good film, forerunner to Leon (the cleaner makes his appearance). Very different though to Leon, worth the £9.99 from Play.com (then again, so is Subway).

couldn`t agree more - top film, remember seeing it at the piccies on release, and thne bought it on DVD from France a couple of years ago when first released, along with subway.

also to say, if anyone is thinking about buting Leon, make sure you go for the R1 version, with 24 extra minutes

Absolute classic!

Luc Besson at his very best, if you liked Leon then it`s almost an absolute certainty that you`ll like Nikita!

Totally agree with jeffers aswell, the extra footage in the uncut International version (R1) of Leon makes a great film even better!

It`s also got an isolated music score so you can enjoy Eric Serra`s fantastic score!

I`m waiting for the Region 1 SE of `Nikita` as the R2 is just a plain "vanilla" release with no extras and a Pro-Logic soundtrack!

Plus on the UK release the subtitles are toned down for language. There is a bit where she is saying Mother Flippers (as they would dub it on a TV version) but the subtitle track is just blank.
