I have it on good ol VHS and the extra footage completes the story no end. What was already a very good (if long) movie is now an excellent telling of the "native american story" and a wonderous piece of filmmaking with loose ends tied up. I for one shall be updating to DVD.

Guess its time to list my dvd on ebay then

236 minutes?!? Is that really necessary. No sane person would say this film was too short to begin with, the curiosity factor can be its only justification.

its 3 discs intotal and has all new extras and commentaries

I hope the film is only split over 2 discs like LOTR and not 3.

its 2 discs for movie and the 3rd for extras

I was the only one to sit through this extended cut at the Odeon Haymarket and I really enjoyed it. The DVD is a long time coming. :-)
