Missing Bonus Features

Flabris (Competent) posted this on Friday, 29th November 2002, 13:47

I`ve had a trawl of the forums and cannot find any mention of this antwhere else but I`m finding bonus features listed on DVD cases are not included in the actual DVD. The 2 examples I have were the Character Interviews on the region 1 version of `Shrek` and the Deleted scenes on the region 1 version of `Lilo & Stitch`. I`m assuming they wouldn`t be listed if they were Easter Eggs, and I`ve checked all the menu`s, so where are they?.

I`m playing them on a hacked Wharfedale 750 which otherwise is great. Has anyone else noticed this as well or got any idea`s how to access them if I`m being stupid?

On my region 2 Fast and the Furious there is a huge list on the box of features that I can`t seem to find.
Maybe I`m mad but I`m sure they`re not on.

I have the 2-disc R1 Shrek (the original release). The character interviews appear on the special features menu of disc 1 under `cast`, if that`s any help Ian. I have the same machine as you.

I had the same problem....just follow this guide.

Select Special Features
Move down past the first four features until you get to the bottom.
Next to PLAY MOVIE should be a small yellow arrow type thing facing right....just click on this to access the rest of the features. There are three pages in all.

I thought that the arrow next to the PLAY MOVIE text activated the movie but it indeed allows you to access all the features, so they are all there as printed on the back of the case.

Hope this helps.

Oops, the old `Does what it says on the tin` approach beats me every time
. . . Thanks for that, I had convinced myself I had checked that menu, but obviously I hadn`t. Let`s hope the `Lilo and Stitch` is as obvious.
