Anyone else`s R2 boxset still listed as Packing? First time I`ve ever had a pre-ordered DVD late.

But as I only ordered it a few days ago, I`m not surprised. They must have a Loooong list of bods to pack before they get to me.

First come-first served is the usual rule and you`ve got to expect a wait with a large unit release like this.

I read on DVD Forums that they`re telling folk they`re inundated, but that they expect to get them all out by the weekend.

I`m glad its not just me.
Mine has been packing since Saturday and was finally posted today.

I pre-ordered mine back on 9th July and as of this morning its still `packing`.

Just lately Play`s service has been going downhill at an alarming pace, and I think this is my final order with them. Considering how much further cd-wow`s packages have to travel, they always arrive quicker than Play`s and I`ve never had an order from cd-wow go missing, but in the past 3 months I`ve had 4 from play go walkabouts.

received mine from dvd.soon yesterday ............. ok its region 1 but it was only £16.77 pre-order.

Play have been very slow of late, I only use them if I have to ie: cheaper than anywhere else.


couple of my orders ( in stock ) taking over a week to arrive.

Mine started packing on Saturday and it still says that today(Thursday).

Can`t say I`m worried as although it is taking a upto a week for some orders you get what you pay for. CD-wow is ok but we don`t all have multi region machines.

Don`t worry- be happy.

l got the Collectors Edition from amazon.co.uk Ordered late night Monday, get it Wednesday.

Play are officially taking the p***. This is the email I just recieved from them:


Hi there,

We are sorry about the time you are having to wait for this item, the staff
at the warehouse are having to make up the boxes which the items are sent in. This is taking longer than expected. We are aiming to post the items tomorrow so that you will recieve it next week wednesday probably.


NEXT WEDNESDAY?!?!? FFS, what is wrong with them?? This is the last item I ever order from Play.

I ordered my copy last Friday and got it Wednesday (2 days after release) - I`ve ordered loads of stuff from them over the last 18 months, so I don`t know if this has any bearing.
