The Royal Mail, Play.com, Region 1 boxsets and delays...

OK, I noticed people have not recieved their Spidey collectors boxsets they`ve ordered from Play.com. I have ordered the R1 Band of Brothers (Gotta have DTS) from them last friday, and have yet to receive it.
Now, I wonder, has it:
a) been via customs, hence the delay b) been pilfered by some underhand B*****d onroute
Has anyone who ordered the Region 1 BoB from Play.com gotten their`s yet? If so, how long did it take?
I sent an email to Play.com yesterday, but have yet to get any response... all I can do is hope!

i am in the same situation with spiddy. i have spoken to play as i have had it posted on 29/10/02 but are still waiting. they cant do anything until 2 weeks after it has been posted,so i have to wait til next wednesday before i can put in a claim for lost in post. i am going for your second option as this is the third dvd i have ordered over the last 2 months that has mysteriously vanished via royal mail.

Hi im glad to say ive not had any problem with my spiderman box set it arrived via play.com three days before release date and im very happy with it.
I have only had one problem with play and after two weeks of the dvd not turning up they sent me another one with no probs, so on the hole its not to bad. it is the only one to have gone missing out of about 30 dvds this year.

The only problems I`ve ever had with play they have sorted out quickly, twice I`ve had a DVD not turn up and they sent a replacement after 2 weeks, and once they sent me the wrong CD. This was sorted out and they also refunded the postage I paid sending it back onto my card. So don`t worry too much if the postie has pilfered it they should sort you out a replacement as there will be no proof you recieved it i.e your signature.

My Pulp Fiction R1 DVD went missing twice play posted it. Then when they were going to post it for the third time it went out of stock and has been for the last 3 weeks. And then yesterday it was `packing` Fingers crossed. It seems since they had there little make over 4 months ago they have got worse.
