Heyhey there
Got Army of Darkness the other day, expecting the "original ending" would be the one with Ash at S-Mart. But unfortunatly for me, the original ending is the one I had previously seen, with Ash waking up in the future.
Can`t really complain since the film is class, but it`s just one of those nagging things, and probably one of the main reasons I bought the DVD. I would love to see what the S-Mart ending was like.
So.....
Is there any place on the net where I could possible download that S-Mart ending? don`t know if that is possible, but surely there must be something like this??!!
Anyone please have any ideas? Or is this illegal stuff that I shouldn`t be posting about?
Any help would be much appreciated.

The ending you want is on the THX disc version, with the sleeping ending as an extra.
I would sell your disc and get this one instead

If you are really desperate you could always pick up the cheapie VHS (blasphemy I know) the one I got ages ago had both endings on.

The region 1 THX version seems to be on sale for about £13 including postage from http://www.dvdsoon.com/showtitledetails.xml?uid=5306 and it says at the bottom of the page that it includes `alternate endings` - two problems though, it is showing as `on order` so there`s no knowing how long it will take before they send it to you - and your credit card will be charged as soon as you place the order. I have had no problems with DVDsoon, but don`t know how quick they are for getting stuff that isn`t already in stock.
dvdboxoffice.com seem to have it as well but no idea if theirs is in stock either. I don`t know if this is the version you are looking for - maybe someone else could confirm this for you.

Yes the THX version has the S-Mart ending on the film and the other ending as an extra. If you want the S-Mart ending then go for this version.
