I think my coyote Ugly disc R1 has dvd rot but Im not sure! Whenever I put it into my Sony Player it says is dirty but I cant see anything on the disc apart from a different colour around the outer edge of most of the disc :( Is this dvd rot ?

The last time my Sony screamed about a dirty disc was when my Matrix R2 had a whopping great fingerprint on it.
It could be that your disc just needs a wipe clean. I doubt if it`s `dvd rot` That manifests as a cloudy, milky residue and you can actually feel the disc is tacky to the touch. Supposedly that`s only happened to MGM`s Terminator SE and Silence of The Lambs SE so far.

Well ive got 3 dvd players a Sony,Wharfdale & dvd drive on computer and none will play it :( I cant see anything wrong with disc,not even a spot of dust,except for the colour difference around the edge of disc

Did it play in the first place?
Cos if it didn`t, then maybe you have a dodgy disc and should be asking for a refund.

Well, my Terminator R2 Disc surface looks pretty awful but visually nothing is wrong with it on screen. So should I just stick with it ??.

It doesn`t cost anything to replace it. So you might as well change it.

It does if it was bought over a year ago,Play 247 wont take it back after 28 days :( And its not like u can send it back to america!
