FAO anyone interested. I placed an order yesterday for the 4 disc version of the LOTR collectors boxed set plus book ends at www.dvd.co.uk for £33.99. I`ve checked out as many places as I could think of and this is the best price I could find. HTH.

Nah, Amazon have the 4 disc Collector`s Edition for £33.74 + postage. The 2 disc set is £18.74 and the normal (i.e. non-collectors 4 disc set) is £22.49.

OOPS, sorry. I didn`t notice you were referring to the collector edition. :) But still, I don`t pay VAT at Amazon UK, so that compensates for the s&h, and their 5£ gift certificate coupons are so easy to come by. :)
