Nothing worthwile except planet of the apes 2001 though Other titles i saw in the ilford store were Home Alon Sleepy Hollow The Beach Legend many other titles that u can pick up for around a tenner online so it wont be worth getting them What could work out well is if u get 2 planet of the apes 2001 (1 for a mate???)

Thanks for that! I just ordered the old Planet of the Apes this morning from Devoted thinking I was ordering the 2001 version DOH!
The 2001 bit in your post made me realise my Homer Simpson mistake.
Just asked a mate if he wants to go halves and buy 2.

You mention Legend in your list - is this the Ridley scott film starring Tom Cruise ?
Mind you probably best off with the region 1 version with all the extras and tangerine dream soundtrack.

noticed moulin rouge there today included in the offer so i got apes for myself and moulin for a mate as i already have the region 1 version with better packaging.

Only a few decent ones in the Manchester store - -Planet of the apes (new version), Moulin Rouge, Romeo and Juliet (new version), and the rest are 1 disc oldies like x men, dances with wolves and so on.Oh and they also had Bachelor party whcih has only just come out as well.

Another store with the Romeo and Juliet in the offer?? According to Smiths this R+J isnt supposed to be involved. I`m very annoyed and shall be writing to my MP...probably.

I bought Planet of the Apes 2001 at £17-99 and Planet of the Apes Original at £7-99 in Woolies. Used some of my Kingfisher Vouchers. £26-00 not too bad, I thought, as I had to use vouchers on something! Misses wanted to use them in B & Q NO! Please commiserate, I remember the original film being released! (I was 6or 7!).
