I`m sure most of you have seen it, but in case anyone hasn`t there`s some cheap stuff in the EzyDVD Sale. I got Braveheart Special Edition for about £12.

I used this site for the first time on Monday, ordering 2 Disney Films for my kids & rec`d them this morning. Very impressed and saved over 50% on buying them from Australia (including shipping costs). Well impressed.

No customs charges at all. I think that if you keep your orders under a certain amount you don`t get charged it. I`ve heard varying reports about the amount though, anyone know?

I think it also depends on how the package is marked?

I also recieved Braveheart in 4 days from ordering, not bad...

Its usually if the amount is less then £18 UK then you don`t pay import duty (hence lots of PLAY247 17.99 prices) - this works out at about $50au at the current rates.

Service is pretty good at the moment - just received Swordfish and Men Behaving Badly vol 2 - 4 days from order.

Men behaving series is really good value as they are currently only $19.95au each (less GST). Or about £6.50.

I didnt get charged VAT or Import Duty either - mine ended up being approx. AUS$40 inc P&P. I`ve got some DVD`s on order from the USA so we`ll see what happens with these?

Does anyone know if you are still charged VAT/Import Duty on second-hand goods? Do the same rules apply?

I ordered some DVDs from them last Wednesday, had confirmation shipping email within 30 minutes and recieved them from Australia to UK this morning (tuesday). Total cost for the DVDs was around $60 and I wasnt forced to pay any Duty.

Great Site.
