Xbox HD-DVD Player add-on- £45

Spotted over at Hot Deals.

Deals @ Amazon.de

Tempted to get one at this price so I can pick up a few bargain HD-DVD`s over the next few months.

Before anyone says a dead format, there`s no replacement for the 360 on the way so it`s going to have a few years life anyway and is a good stop gap for anyone who wants HD now.

There is a chance that HD-DVD`s will be playable on future Blu Ray players aswell (although there`s a chance they won`t either).

Hmmm can get.

Ray, The Frighteners, The Thing and The Game over at Ezydvd for £20 all in.

Think that could swing me in the idea of investing.

They are still going quite pricey on Ebay when I was looking this afternoon (pushing £10 including postage for second hand HD-DVDs).

How much do you want for yours?

I`ve not tried, but not long after it was released some of the cracking groups got it working on a standard PC, using the USB

The drive is now down to £39.99 at Amazon, Game and Gamestation. Can anyone tell me if it comes bundled with a remote as I watch a lot of divx using an external HD and a remote would be doubly useful if I got the drive?

I thought the remote was bundled free as an incentive to buy at launch, but later you had to buy it separately. I may be wrong.
