looked on the MVC sale site on 24th forest gump was £8.99, went to order today.... no forest gump, does any one know where i can get it for £8.99

Its a p*ss take, they might have really cheap dvds but you can`t actually get onto the website to order them.
I would have ordered it last night but I couldn`t be bothered to wait half an hour for each page to load up.
MVC - lets hope you spend all the money from the cheap Godfather Boxsets on sorting out your website servers!!

Homer and BigA, Forrest is back on the server !! I`ve just ordered it at 8.99 together with Ghost and When Harry Met Sally. The site is getting back to normal after the Godfather rush since Crimbo Eve !!

Bugger MVC!
Site reset my basket then happily ordered the contents without me confirming! (before you say it ezypay or `stand and deliver in 90 mins` was off). Restocked the basket & ordered as per normal - ho, ho, ho, 2 bleeding emails arrive with 2 orders (slightly) duplicated. Emailed their Customer services - reply came 17 hours later saying I would have to send stuff back as they had BOTH BEEN DISPATCHED!!
Now I`m going to call Guiness as I think this is a record.....The biggest pork-pie by email in 2001!
On-line ordering eh?

it`s out of stock now mate ! No more at £8.99. I`ve also heard a rumour that they have now stopped selling Godfather at £24.99 in the shops (but I can`t confirm that).

I`m gonna write an email to mvc and see what they say, it worked with Tesco when I missed out on the Godfather Boxset at VAT free price, its amazing what an email can achieve!?!
