RE: Kodak digital camera worth £300 for £100 PLUS loads of accessories

Its funny how ebay now has four of these for sale already, someone is quick on the draw!!!

One of them is up to £200 already. Someone is going to make a fat profit.

Thats if any of us actually get them.

Remember, if anyone gets one of these delivered, post it here so that the rest of us have something to moan about if they decide not to fulfil all of the orders.

Heres Hoping, finger crossed :o)

RE: Kodak digital camera worth £300 for £100 PLUS loads of accessories

Hi

Thanks for the info,

I have been looking for a digi camera for the last couple of months and had actually ordered one from a different website last night, so as soon as I read this thread, I was on the phone to cancel that one and order this BARGAIN!!!!!!!!

By far the best deal I have seen

RE: <<<<Does anyone like Jackass???!!!!>>>>

Hi

Definately the funniest thing on TV. religious viewing!!!!

The official website is: http://www.mtv.com/onair/jackass/

My favourite scenes has to be stevo bobbing for jellyfish, and when Brad Pitt got kidnapped... Funny as F**K

Also when bam margera got arrested and as the Policeman drove off he turned round and gave the classic "I`m Johnny Knocksville and your`e watching Jackass"!!!!!!!

RE: dvd.co.uk - any good?

Ordered Godfather Boxset from them when Tesco VAT Free finished a couple of months ago.

Delivery was quick and the discs were well packaged.

I would happily use them again

RE: Rush Hour 2 - £10.99 (R2)

And also, there is a box on the Safedoor website where you can write the names of online retailers that you want Safedoor to deal with, so, if they get enough requests for one retailer in particular they know its going to be profitable to deal with them!!!

Can we all spell www.play247.com :o)

RE: Rush Hour 2 - £10.99 (R2)

A £5 discount on a DVD I want - I can`t see anything wrong/bad about that at all.

You`re right, I probably won`t use Bensons again becuase - normally - they are more expensive, however, if i can get a disc for £5 cheaper i`m going to take it.

BigA

P.S. Are there 2 AndyPandys around as I swear there is a major contradiction between the last two posts!?!

RE: Rush Hour 2 - £10.99 (R2)

Yeah its definately R2. The RH2 disc at CD WoW is region 1 but Bensonsworld only sell R2.

Would have prefered R1 but all Cd WoW`s discs cost 14.99 and to get the £5 voucher, you have to spend £15........sneaky!!!

Anyway £10.99 for a brand new DVD can`t be bad.

BigA

RE: Rush Hour 2 - £10.99 (R2)

How did you manage that, you have to spend over £15 to get the £5 off and Pearl Harbour is only £14.99

Do Tell :o)

RE: Petition against Logos on Sky

- just Sky and the obvious collusion with their advertisers in trying to ram "No Win No Fee" style adverts down my throat -

Don`t get me started on these "Claims direct" style adverts. Not only do they p*ss me off but they make me wonder who the hell hasn`t been in an accident in the last 5 years that wasn`t there fault!!!!????!!!!!

Were fast turning into America where these adverts were being aired a long time ago.

Beware, I think i`m going to sue you :o)

Rush Hour 2 - £10.99 (R2)

Hi

Just signed up to Safedoor (after visiting CD Wow and clicking on the link).

Then used the £5 voucher you get by signing up and went (through links on the safedoor site) to bensonsworld where it is 15.99.

Add it to the cart then click on the safedoor link and complete the transaction through safedoor to get your £5 off

Now lets hope the film is good!!!!!!!????????!!!!!!!!

I know its EIV so the case will be s***e but I don`t care about that!

RE: Not dvd related but i need advise about my Kodak DX3600

What you need to buy is a 64mb Compact Flash(CF) card. That way you can use it in the exact same way as the 8mb card that you have. The 64mb card should allow you to take about 200+ pictures!!!!!

The compact flash reader is just a quicker way of downloading your pictures without needing the camera. It is really only needed for people who use the camera alot and have loads of pictures to download at any one time.

I suggest the best place to buy from is Nomatica.com You don`t have to buy Kodak cards (they are more expensive) I have the (CF32 Dane) which works a treat on my kodak.

http://www.nomatica.com/index.asp?Devise=GBP&Langue=EN&Chargement=photo/dc3200EN.htm&Provenance=kelkoo_uk

The 64mb Compact Flash card you need is £31 (A Bargain)

Hope this helps

RE: Petition against Logos on Sky

Ray

You write a good argument I have to say, and I agree that the intrusion of our tv screens has increasingly worsened even since the technology has got better. But lets not forget the services that Sky do provide.
I believe both Open (now Sky active) and Interactive Football have increased my viewing pleasure no end.
And hey........PlayJam rocks!!!!!!!!!

If i`m honest though, I can`t say I have noticed the rise in volume when adverts start.

It could be worse, In the USA they have it really bad. Imagine this, your favourite program has just started with a "previously on......" followed by the credits that tells you who is starring. Then, just as you expect the episode to actually begin..........they go for 6-7mins worth of adverts!!!!!!!!
Now thats a p*ss take

RE: Petition against Logos on Sky

Sorry am I missing something here??

You are moaning about that little logo in the top corner of your screen that takes up about an inch square!!!!!!

Adverts are not only on sky you know, what about ITV, channel 4. they have been using this technique for as long as I can remember.

And lets not forget, its those adverts that help pay for the channel. I`m sure you would rather sit through a few minutes of adverts than pay another £109, (or, in the case of sky, another 30 quid a month)

I, along with most people, agree that the prices sky charge for suscription are too expensive but the fact that 1 in every 4 households now have sky surely tells you that they must be doing something right!?!

RE: Where has forest gump gone?

Vardre you`re a star!!!!!

Took your advice and phoned my local store, they are out of stock but have 3 copies on order for next tuesday AT £8.99!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I reserved my copy with a huge smile on my face safe in the knowledge that I have saved £1 on p&p and that my numourous hours on mvc.co.uk didn`t go to waste.

Thanks Mate, happy new Year.

BigA

P.S. Warney - how did you get the free mobile then???

RE: Petition against Logos on Sky

RE: Where has forest gump gone?

Has anyone seen it for £8.99 in the MVC shops????

BigA

RE: Godfather at MVC - stores only

Is Forrest Gump £8.99 in store???

RE: Where has forest gump gone?

Its a p*ss take, they might have really cheap dvds but you can`t actually get onto the website to order them.

I would have ordered it last night but I couldn`t be bothered to wait half an hour for each page to load up.

MVC - lets hope you spend all the money from the cheap Godfather Boxsets on sorting out your website servers!!

RE: Selling R1 DVDs on the High Street

OK sorry mate, I must have missed that bit when reading through the terms and conditions!!!?!!!

RE: Selling R1 DVDs on the High Street

Yeah its illegal to sell region one dvds in the UK which is why most websites send their R1 dvds either straight from the USA (futureent) or Belguim (Play).

You`re probably better off buying from the internet anyway, service is quick and prices are a hell of alot cheaper.

Big A

P.S.
The best place for region 0 dvds is

MTV Jackass - any sign of it on DVD?!

Just wondered if there was a DVD out for Jackass yet R1 or R2? I`ve looked on play and futureent and neither show anything.

I have seen vcd`s on eBay but they look s***e.

Any help gratfully received

RE: Jonh Lewis are cancelling internet price matches soon

Thats what really p***ed me off....they charged my debit card after three days of it being order!!!!!!!!!!

I have phoned them on numorous ocassions and they say that they have had some 200 orders (Samsung M105) and that they are awaiting a delivery any time soon.

I have told them of my disgust but if they have had 200 orders I don`t think they really give a s*** about what I think.
