Dubster (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Monday, 10th December 2007, 15:01

New or existing customers, the HiDef V+ box with built in PVR is now £75.

I just booked mine in, no changes to existing service, just the one off fee.

Apologies if this has been up before, I did a search on V+ and didnt find anything so thought Id mention it.

Can you having it fitted before xmas if you book now?

I mentioned it in this thread.

it`s for existing customers, i got a leaflet about it in the post yesterday.

i think the aim of the promo is ppl will want it for Christmas to go with their HD TVs they`ll get for Christmas. It makes a big deal of recording what you want while granny watches something else.

Is there a code on the leaflet that you have to quote when you ring up?

From the Virgin Media website: Quote:
Installation: £75 (usually £150)
Plus, if you`re a new customer you also get our £30 online discount.
I`m tempted myself, as I have the VIP package.

Edit: booked in for 2nd January - the earliest it could be fitted - it must be popular.

I`m booked in on the 4th of Jan. Very busy, as you can imagine.
I did try saying that I was tempted to go to Sky for their free box but didn`t get anywhere so I stumped up the cash for it.

Just rang up got it for £75 but could not get installed b4 xmas being installed on the 09th jan.
How do they do the bill with this v+ box?
I had to pay the £75 on my card to get it started then she said you will £150 paid on the bill then £75 refund on bill so does that make it £150?
