Does anybody have any experience of using these Medion PCs, as this offer looks, well, like a bargain!

you`re probably too late now, as you normally have to queue up before opening to get things like the PC.

I don`t have one, but they generally get good write ups, and they do them every few months. Sometimes a cheap one like today`s, sometimes more expensive ones at just under £1000, sometimes laptops.

search for Medion, and aldi on here and you`ll see a few threads about them, i think Medion are sold more widely on mainland Europe.

i just got the pci wi fi card + the usb wi fi dongle, not tried the dongle yet, but the pci card seems excellent value, Vista finds it without the need for the supplied driver disc, & it seems to have decent range & is easy to use :)

Medion do have their own website, a friend of mine got some refurbished pcs last year at a ridiculous price! Don`t know if they`ve ever repeated the offer, but it was pc, flat screen monitor and a printer/scanner for about £125 the lot!

I`ve had a Medion From Aldi now for more than 2yrs(Intel pentium4 3.4Ghz/1Gb memory/320Gb Hard Drive - which is 2x160Gb drives Tv card with freeview/smart card reader/DVD Recorder/DVD rom the list goes on.I have to say this the best computer i`ve had so far plus 3yr warranty ;)

have now installed the wi fi dongle on my sons pc, also easy & trouble free :)
