YES, cheaper elsewhere on t`internet (-£20) but you won`t get the Argos No Quibble Guarantee which is worth the extra £20.

Not sure if this fits the description of a Bargain though....perhaps better to ask these sort of questions in the Hardware Forum for a more concise answer...

It`s near enough the going rate at Asda, but there`s is by some dodgy unknown company.

But over at Currys, there`s a Goodmans for £679, personally I wouldn`t buy anything expensive from Argos, as their customer after care service is s***e.

If it`s a bargain, surely in the right forum? :)

I notice that the Wharfdale 42" is £699.

It`s a good price for a well known brand but look around to see what other manufacturers are doing. The Samsung PS-42Q7H can be had for £730 and Dixons are doing a Philips set for £799.

Never had a problem myself returning faulty or unwanted products to Argos - although the Troll in the back room can keep you waiting a little while at the collection desk.... :D

That annoys me when you`re waiting for your order, and that stupid voice says `Your order is ready for collection`, and it never is!!!!! You get off the chair to stand at the collection desk like a plum, thinking well where the f*** is it then?

I overheard one of the staff saying that doesn`t mean your order is ready, it is just set to go off at a certain time.
