I`m quite attracted by the idea of a slim CRT TV, and this is a good price. However I`ve had difficulty in finding out much information on this set. Does anyone have one, or something similar, and what are they like?
I`m not planning on going doen the HD route, at least not for a while yet, so something that handles Sky and ordinary DVD would be fine. Would it handle an upscaled DVD picture?

Yup - this TV is HD compatible, though I suspect it doesnt have HDMI inputs - so only component... it can therefore handle upscaled pictures easily.

This is not HD. If you bought it thinking it was you would be very dissapointed.

This is the first version of the SlimFit, and apparently fares worse than the HD model for geometry issues, ie, you pays your monies and you gets what them`s worth.

Still, not at all bad for the money if you get a set that can display straight lines properly.
