Datawrite 2GB SD Card - Now just £17.70 delivered !!!

Datawrite 2GB SD Card is just £17.70 delivered from Amazon.co.uk

Cheapest price I`ve seen for a 2GB SD card.

The cards are dropping quickly in price.

www.amazon.co.uk/gp/explorer/B000H627ZI/2/ref=pd_lpo_ase/202-7283100-3197451?

The viking cards I`ve shown on this site before for being really cheap for 1gb cards are £5 more expensive than the link to the card above.

Chris :)

According to datawrite.co.uk they only offer 133x Write/160x Read cards, which really does make these a bargain. Especially now that mymemory.co.uk have put the price of theirs up to £23.99.

Only word of caution is that I was reading reports at ebuyer.co.uk for their `Veho` 133x card, there were lots of comments that this card was actually quite slow!

Anyway I`m going to get a couple of these for the zods.

Thanks OP

Another owner of a couple of Zodiac`s?

Theres four in our house (including 1 spare for me) not counting the spares units.

We also recently sourced 3 Commandplay gaming attachments. :D

Yes, picked a couple up in the Morgan clearout. Bought them mainly as video players for the girls, and have never really got around to seeing what else they are good for. I know zilch about PalmOs, more of a Windows and Unix guy. I keep meaning to investigate as the spec of the Zodiac is really very good, but so little time and so much to do.

Does anyone still sell accessories, cables etc.?

I bought mine as a replacement for my Tungsten T.

Shortly after I bought another for NN from Morgan & then bought two sets of unused, converted back to full function store demo units with 2 RMA returns. The original Zod developed the analogue drift problem & was returned to PCW leaving me with four working units (& spares from the RMA returns & another unconverted store demonstration unit).

They are used primarily as cheap games consoles\video players to keep the kids amused (especially en-route to Gatwick by train, at Gatwick & transatlantic flights), while I use mine for those as well as note taking, GPS, WiFi & normal PIM functions.

Some branches of Dixons/PCW have the accessories at 1p each.

Theres been a glut of Zodiacs & accessories on E-bay in the last week & if you can get hold of them from spuraticat I can endorse the Commandplay game grip as bringing a whole new level of comfort to playing Palm OS & emulated games (PalmMame & ZodMame from my own preference).

Do you hang about the Tapland forums perchance?

There`s a lot on the Ebay link above ATM.

Also if you don`t mind a (long) wait Olympic Systems in the US are still shipping the last of the reprogrammed mint condition\unused ex-store display models with a customer RMA return (that may or may not be faulty) for about £70 inc carriage.

Customs friendly as well IYKWIM. ;)

Rassilon

Do you know of any available external portable power source for the Zodiac, or is it a case of diy surgery on the power cable (usb conversion)?

Any source of replacement batteries?
