Whats the best price people have found on cross shredder?

Don`t know what the going rate is for cross shredders, but Makro(mail) C & C have a SIGMA PCC50 for £12.99 + Vat (if you know anyone with a membership card) or FELLOWS P70CM for £24.99 + Vat(Latter shreds credit cards as well :) ).

I give up with shredders, they always jam up, so now I let our 2 rats do the shredding, fun for them and more reliable.

Nah, use a liquidizer, anything that you need to hide from prying eyes, it`s way to do it! 8) Just try to stick that back together :o .
But, I have to agree, the cross cut is a lot better than a strip shredder. Two cases that I know of are:
The Americans tried to destroy as much of their sensitve material before their embassy in Tehran was over run. The Iranians got hold of the shredded material and painstakenly put it all back together (I think that it resulted in a lot of CIA employees becoming ex people!).
A few years ago, I bought a Discworld figure, and came packed in shredded paper, it turns out that the paper seemed (from what we could read) to be shredded court records with perps details (I wish that I`d kept them and tried a bit harder to sort them out ;) ).
You then combine this with the fiasco of selling second hand PCs to Nigeria with the HDD AND data intact......... >:(
