Gillette Alternative

There has been a lot of interest in the free Gillettes ( I participated myself). Not technically a bargain, because the price is low to start off with. The bargain is this cost difference against the Gillette.

Asda do their own powered version. The razor is about half the price of the gillette and the blades are almost a third. I got mine when they were on offer (even cheaper again). Anyway IMO the shave is almost as good as the gillette at a fraction of the price, and those blade replacements arent quite as painfull.

Bargain, you decide.

How are the ASDA onces when it comes to rinsing the hairs out between strokes?

I tried the Sainsbury own brand (unpowered) but found the blades didnt clean as easily as Gillette Mach3 so I went back - I have very dense packed stubble!

With the Gillette I just pop under the tap for a second and it clears out - but with the Sainsbury one I had to turn the water up and hold it for longer - thereby increasing the overall shave time.
