just watched WOTW`s- not a bad movie, worth the fiver it cost me.
That bloody kid playing Tom Cruise`s daughter was a royal pain in the arse, kept hoping an alien would eat the moaning little sod. :)

No War of the Worlds at my Asda...if anyone could grab me a copy I`d happily pay the postage as it should only be a £1!

War of the Worlds for a fiver! Ive not seen a film go from cinema screen to bargain bin quicker since the Hulk :o

WotW was frankly..awful....all bells and whistles GCI and bugger all else, Too sickly sweet, too many predictable `Spielberg` moments characters you dont care about, and I dont understand why the ending had to be so upbeat...it just made it too sickly and `American`. And I would have given anything to see Dakota Fanning get zapped.... >:(

I was having a conversation with a friend the other night and realised I dont like ANY Tom Cruise films...not one....and its not a dislike of Tom Cruise that I dont like his films, I just cant think of one Ive seen that Ive liked. Some are ok...like A few Good Men or Interview with the Vampire, but Ive never liked one enough to want to see it again. Ive had good reports of Collateral and seen it cheap all over but just cant bring myself to buy a Tom Cruise movie that I`ll maybe watch once and then leave gathering dust on a shelf

Give me the origional WotW anyday over Spielberg`s CGI fest

I think Tom Cruise is an idiot but do like some of his movies. I like the spielberg version of wotw, thought that the feeling of annihilation/massacre of the Human race was good and thought the aliens were great too.
