This free sim deal .. how come Orange themselves don`t know about it ? Inside is a card which says "keep your number" and "upgrade your orange payg phone". So I tried. I was told I couldn`t keep my old number, so in the end I just had them activate it. But there was no mention of the 300 texts / calls offer ? Have I been done ?

I sent off for some of these sims and mine haven`t come yet.
Anyway, I have had orange sims before and when I phoned up to activate, they didn`t mention the 300 txts. So I asked them about it and they said:
"Oh right, you want the 300 txts, ok, we will send you some txts through to your phone and all you have to do is open them then delete them and you will have your 300 txts"
I did this and all was good.
The motto of my boring story is that Orange dont really want you to have the txts unless you ask then they will give them you you.
