Any prospect of a Region 2 release any time soon?

It would be nice, but don`t hold your breath! I was quite surprised when DLM S1 came out over here as I hadn`t seen any news about it at all. I`ve just looked up the release dates for the US & UK versions of S1. Scarily the UK release was issued 1 day shy of 53 weeks after the American version, and that day is only cos the US new release date is a tuesday whereas we`re a monday. If the delay in releasing Season 2 is similar to that of Season 1 then you could be in for a long wait

If you`re curious, my S1 DVD Boxset looks identical to the UK version from what I`ve seen and the US S2 boxset looks really nice too (it doesn`t have the fancy plastic slip case season 1 did though)

Judging by the current price of DLM S1 this looks like a much better deal than waiting for the UK release... I don`t really like buying R1 DVDs but I may make an exception for this.

Why?

I`d definitely go for this, but it would just gather dust at the mo, until S1 comes down in price, or I can afford it. :(

Be nosey - what i`m playing and what i`m listening to..

The main reason is I quite often watch films on my PC and don`t feel like messing around with it each time I want to watch a film from a different region.

Like I say, at this price I`m reconsidering...

Just an update to say they actually charged £14.99 per my credit card statement and no sign of it yet- although it has been shipped.

They have also billed me for one they confess they are waiting for stock on (naughty)-again the exchange rate is less favourable than it apppears on their site.
