Woolworths now have more bargain dvd players in stock again.

if these are the proline 1000 players, are they the new versions or the old ones?
and do they play RCE discs?

yep they do play rce. got to be a bargain just got my son one for his bedroom.heres the review before the firmware was updated .

Got mine today, well, it`s for the old folks. £60 ain`t bad. No visible marks either as Woolworths say they have some cosmetic damage. The reason they`re cheap is probably because they were in-store demonstrator machines.
Can`t go wrong for £60 as a second player.

Apparently if there`s so much as a mark on the player they send you free sweeties.

Ordered one for the bedroom...or to sell to my folks (LOL!)

Mine had lots of marks on the top, but works fine (and plays all my R1 and R4 disks)

They`ve run out now. We phoned and they have none left.
