I called my own number and it worked, not great. I phoned my daughter but not a good connection. Also it freezes every time I hang up and I have to restart the PC.

Been using the 1899.com VOIP product for a few weeks and its free and its excellent. As for free calls in the the UK there`s an good article on the moneysavingexpert website - sign up to Onetel get a £20 credit - free evening and w/e calls - any other calls use 18866.com at 2p for the connection.

Sorry - VoipBuster temporarily unavailable for download
Due to technical problems we have decided to temporarily put a limit on the number of new VoipBuster clients. As we are currently in BETA stage of developing this new and exciting product, we opt to continue our test runs with our existing BETA usergroup for the next couple of months. Consider yourselves the happy few

At least I`ve still got call1899 and call1866

Same with me. I could hear my daughter no problem, but she told me the sound from my end was fading in and out.

In the end I just signed up for 18866.com, somebody mentioned them earlier in the thread.

Bloody brilliant. I can phone anywhere in the UK at any time for a connection fee of 2 pence - and that`s it!
