I ordered the full screen 2 disc version from DVDSOON and it worked out £9.67 delivered, and that is without the ifidelity card, and it is on it`s way.

Before you ask, we don`t have a widescreen TV, so the full frame version is better for us.

Cheers,

Did they re-render everything like for Monsters Inc?

Looking at the description on some sites it states "pan & scan" that would indicate not, but will see when it arrives, unless anyone else knows more?

just found this on the description on amazonl.com
"Fortunately, Pixar reformats their full-frame presentation so the action remains in frame"

no, not sure what that means either, but it should be OK

Sounds like Pan & Scam to me; I ordered the widescreen version from DVD Soon for just over £7.

It means they recomposite it so that the sides aren`t cut off. It`s still not the proper theatrical ratio though. Oh, and not having a widescreen set doesn`t mean that the `full screen` version of the film is `better`.

What?
When my kids watch the film on the portable 14" in our kitchen, you still think that the true widescren version, 2.35:1 ratio will be better, I guess it may represent the true ratio better if they can see it!
In my case the full screen version is better suited to our TVs.
;-)
Cheers,
be happy
