I ordered one a couple of days ago. It arrived today in perfect condition and I was particularly pleased that there was no surcharge for delivery to Northern Ireland.

It works a treat for copying DVD-RAMs (editing out ad breaks etc - great for timer recordings and so on) but my one gripe is that it does not seem to be multi-region as described.

I have emailed the seller and will let you all know what the response is.

It is a superb player for the money.

Mine is definately multi-region. It has played R1 versions of Gladiator and Phantom Menace as well as my R2 discs and home made discs.

I understand that the multi region hack is a hardware one, rather than a remote hack. But if anyone knows otherwise, I`m sure they will post it here.

I too ordered one of these players, great value for the money (thanks to the original poster). However the DVD i received is definitely not multi-region it fails to play any of my region 1 and 3 disks.

I contacted the company (tel No is on the Invoice) and them seem pretty helpful, they say the DVD is currently out of stock however they expect some more in shortly and they will arrange an exchange.

I think perhaps they may have just forgot to Mod some of these DVDs before sending them out,. I will keep you updated on this one.
